Allianz Mini Sevens Co. Finals

Next Tuesday brings to a conclusion this years Allianz Cumann na mBunscol MiniSevens competitions. All four finals will be played back-to-back in St. Patricks Park, Enniscorthy, in what promises to be a great evening of entertainment. Many of the teams featuring in this years finals have unfinished business.

In the curtain raiser, the Ballygarrett girls are hoping to go one step further after a good display in the same final last year. The boys’ football final sees a replay of last years final between Ballythomas and Murrintown. Murrintown will be hoping to get their share of glory this year after narrowly losing out in last years cracking final.

In the small ball, traditional Camogie Kingpins Rathnure return to the final after a two year absence to take on Ballyhack in the camogie decider and the evenings programme of events will be brought to a close with the boys’ hurling final between Craanford and St. Leonards. Craanford will be hoping to add the MiniSevens title to their silverware after a brilliant win in the Rackard League Roinn B hurling competition last year.

These fast and furious matches are not to be missed. Come along and see the future stars of Wexford GAA.
