Hurling

There were two applications for regarding from Roinn B to Roinn C from L.Island and Monageer. These were both approved.

Glynn and Barntown were entering separate teams in Rackard League.

Glynn to remain in current division. Barntown placed in Roinn C.

Roinn A/B groups were drawn up. There are four groups of five.

Top two in each group play in Roinn A quarter finals.

Next two play in Roinn B quarter finals.

Bottom teams in each group play off in shield semi-finals with losers having the option of playing in Roinn C next year. Walk overs may not be given in shield semis.

Both finalists from Roinn C will be promoted.

Camogie

There were two applications for re-grading from Roinn A to Roinn B from Bunclody and Loreto, Gorey. These were both approved.

Roinn A to consist of one group of seven teams.

Roinn B to have two groups.

Rounders

Rounders competition will the week commencing March 31st. Fixtures will be circulated shortly.

Athletics

Bree Sports will be held on Wed May 14th 2014.

Exhibition Games/Mini Sevens

Usual method of mini sevens winners and using some of skills competition winners to be used to get players to play in Croke Park on All Ireland semi-final and final days.

It was agreed to get a wide spread of players of a good standard to play in other exhibition games and blitzes.

Concession

It was agreed that if a game is one sided, the teacher over the losing team can inform the referee and the teacher in charge of other team that it is conceding. No further scores will be recorded. This will give a chance for increased participation and a more even game.
